Is it possible to retrieve an old website that has been lost due to inactivity?

In October or November of 2012, I added a website to x10hosting as a temporary place to display a project that I and a coworker were working on. In the meantime, two catastrophes occurred in my life. The first was the death of my father, which delayed my work on the extraneous project (the project was more a luxury than necessity). The second event, which was much less catastrophic but still affected my work significantly, was that my computer became infected with a Trojan horse virus.

In the restoration of files to my new computer, I lost the most recent version of my project. I also somehow missed the email warnings reminding me to log on to my x10 account. Is it possible to retrieve an old website or has it been completely purged? If it is possible, is this something that the x10hosting team would consider were I to upgrade to a paid membership, and if so, how much would it cost me?

Thanks to anyone who can answer this for your time and consideration.

If it was suspended and then deleted, it was completely purged from the system. No retrieval possible.

Hello,

Further to the above, I can't see a free hosting account linked to your client ID, which means the chances are your account and its files have been expunged. Providing you reside in a safe country you are of course free to sign up once again.

Thanks for the quick response Grim and Sharky! I wish the answer were otherwise, but this is what I figured would be the case. I must be more careful about backing up regularly, but the good news is that I had a *fairly* recent back-up and so I did not lose as much as I might have. Time to invest in some cloud storage!

Cheers,
Monique
