Rogers is constantly working to ensure security by regularly screening the accounts in our system. We recently reviewed your account, and we need more information to help us provide you with secure service. Until we can collect this information, your access to sensitive account features will be limited. We would like to restore your access as soon as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Why is my account access suspended?

Your account access has been suspended for the following reason(s):

March 12, 2007: We have reason to believe that your account was accessed by a third party. I would just wait and see if they send another one. Usually Spam Bots will send one and forget you. Was the address it came from legit?

Post the message headers, and they can cancel your account, and then put you on an internet blacklist so you cant get internet again;)

https://www.rogers.com/web_auth/signin.asp gives me a 404 error.

And... This email seems very phishy. It's got all the ingredients: A "security inspection" of some sort, claims of "unauthorized access", the need to click on a link in order for you to re-authorize your account, and that page probably asking for sensitive information.

Corporations don't do this anymore, mostly because phishing became really popular.

Call them! (Like Micro said :p)

Fastest way to figure out what's going on and be confident about it.

Im about 95% sure its fake. I get those things for ebay all the time. they want you to sign in and give them all your passwords and stuff so they can then go on your account. Hope this helps.

I can't get the link to load so I'm not sure if it's fake or not.

And you're absolutely going to hate me for repeating it, but call them. If it really is blocked, they'll be able to see it and help you out more. If it isn't, they'll tell you that you were subject to a spam attack and that if you logged in, they can help you reset your account details.

Thankfully that last part won't be necessary cause you posted here asking for help and we told you not to load it, right?

And yes they can cancel your account, but theres no real reason to. They'd block it first then follow up on the intrusion attempt if one really did happen - that happened with one of my credit cards. Someone tried to make a purchase on a rather explicit website, so they blocked the account. They didn't email me though - they sent me a snail-mail first class letter.

Based on that I'd guess it's spam - I've yet to see any professional company resort to email to contact you regarding an important business matter; my experiences have always either been phone or snail-mail.

Off topic edit: AGAIN WITH ENDING UP ON THE SECOND PAGE! I'm cursed I guess, I can't seem to reply without ending up on page 2 -_-'
