Is this acceptable usage?

I have obviously already registered an account but before I upload my site, I want to make sure what I am doing is acceptable on your free servers.

I operate a small Internet Radio site and broadcast my audio stream via a shoutcast server to a flash player embedded in my webpage. Because the stream is handled completely by the 3rd party shoutcast server, it has no real effect on the resources of the web server whatsoever once the page containing the flash player is loaded into the listeners browser. My stream is RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) licensed and strictly follows the provision of the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) as it relates to internet broadcasting.

Shoucats servers and music licensing are outrageously expensive, so being able to use your services to host my project would definitely be helpful to alleviate some of the strain on my budget.

If it is a flash player that loads content from another server, it should be fine as long as you have the rights to play the songs on this other server.
I'm assuming you are talking about something similar to embedding a youtube video on a website except using a streaming widget?

Yes DB, that is exactly what I am talking about. Once the page with the player loads...the web server's job ends and all of the content loads from a 3rd party shoutcast server and is simply piped through the embedded player directly to the listener.
I appreciate you assistance.

It sounds acceptable as long as you have the correct rights to play the music which it sounds like you do.
I am marking this thread as resolved.
If you need additional assistance, feel free to create another support thread or re-open this thread.
