Hi,
Today I've been suspended for high-CPU usage twice (albeit there was no usage on my site in between suspensions). I believe that this suspension is mistaken. I use a CMS called e107, which is similar to Joomla and phpBB boards, and the like. And I saw that you were experiencing issues. I was wondering if this problem could somehow be alleviated, and I would be more than willing to somewhat restrict my users usage, although it is not much. However, in between suspensions, in which I couldnt even access the site, I do not understand how I used alot of cpu. This time of the year, is when I provide my service and it is quite disruptive with all these suspensions that I feel are unwarranted.

Hello, i recently posted a answer to the same support question

You can view it at the following link
http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/123329-account-auto-suspened-every-day.html

This is due to some main issues, a new issue which is being fixed and a normal issue to do with, like you said high cpu usage, and servers changing

I have already posted a quote on some other posts, so i will not do it again here. This will help you to understand the issues the administration may be going through and the server restrictions set place,

Matt,

Well the situation right now, is kind of hypocritical, because i can't even access my site or CPanel to try and rectify the problem from my end. Not to mention that in between suspensions MySQl wasn't working so my site certainly couldn't have been using much cpu. If I could possibly be unsuspended (which i put in request serveral hours ago), I would try to reduce the load on my part. But I still cannot possibly see why after a year and a half of using x10hosting to host my site, exactly now I'm starting to get this problem.

They changed the rules in the middle of the game. Not the limits on CPU/memory/process usage, but on the configuration of the servers.

The servers are going through changes to adapt cpanel to the 50,000+ accounts per server. This is causing some problems along with the new plans.

Sorry. I really don't think they have that many accounts.

No way.

At Dlukin

correction they do. There are only so many servers and x10hosting hosts over 1 million users and websites according to statistics.

According to what statistics?
And since they have 7 free servers, that would work out to more than 140,000 per server (unless your stats include paid accounts).

edit: my bad there are 340,000 users. It shows that on the homepage. What I meant to say was that there are millions of pages hosted

Oh please. That is "users" as in forum memberships. That does not translate into Hosting Accounts. People with multiple Forum accounts and tons of Forum accounts with no Hosting Accounts attached.

http://x10hosting.com/forums/members/list/

Browse the list and find out just how many are inactive.

Please, the statistics are showing exactly what has been said. 387813 it shows. Yes some may be unactive, but unless you have gone through all 387813 then dont say most of them are active. I can assure you that 50,000 or more are the amount of people on x10hosting (active) check it on the homepage. There is no need to be rude as statistics show what is true. Uncorrect, you cannot have multiple forum accounts that are both active (against tos) and it only counts people who are being hosted. No Hosting Accounts Attached - yes these are people trying to get traffic to their site most likely or have errors. However these statistics are the amount of users hosting. Period.

Again, you claim 50K accounts per server. Again, I say BS.

http://x10hosting.com/forums/news-announcements/115601-updates-upgrades-etc.html

Note Corey talks about 50K accounts total.

If you notice at the bottom of the Index page for the Forum it shows:

Members 431,606

That is total number of forum members. And yes there are members with multiple forum accounts. Some intentional. Some unintentional due to confusion during hosting account sign up.

And if you think 350K out of 431K members all have hosting accounts, fine. I will believe it when Corey or Byron comes here and posts that they have over 50K accounts per server.

Yes he talks about 50 k total. That was 3 months ago, it sky rocked. Regardless. Lets stop, the last thing we want to do is spam this post, If you want to, bring it through pms. Right now this is a post for support and this got way out of hand. lets stop, and continue elsewhere if need be.
