Just I want to ask a question.
I want to add java applet for irc. Is this going to break the TOS????

No. I don't believe so ... IRC is a chat service and you are using the Applet to connect. So, unless someone overrules me on it ...

just make sure you're not hosting IRC chat, as it uses too many resources and you'll be suspended, but as long as it's hosted elsewhere and you're just connecting to it, you'll be fine :)

Chris Z you mean irc sevrer :)
for irc server(or bots for channels) user need ssh

& irc chat hosting means pjirc - it doesn't break the TOS, as any js (for nav exmple)

ok thanks guys:). I'm not thinking of irc servers. I just need to make my members connect to irc without downloading irc clients.

About eggdrop and the bnc stuff I'm still searching for a free shell account :).(not X10hotsing because I'm sure they don't allow such thing)
