Joomla admin problems

ok my problem is on once ive installed it it works fine just when i go the admin page the following 500 error i get.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@nubcake.x10hosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.39 Server at nubcake.x10hosting.com Port 80

it worked originally when i first installed the site but after i deleted all in public_html it stopped working for the second install, any ideas on what to do? maybe just clear everything out? any help on how to do this also? im a real nub cake at this. thanks for any help guys

Go into your cPanel, under the "Logs" section, click on error logs and paste what it lists into a post here, let's see whats going on.

ah thanks, by knowing where this log was i could see that the directory was writable by others and i changed it, ill do the tick for you. thanks so much rpope904. your a saint
