Hi I wonder if someone can help me,

I am trying to set up registration emails to send to new users, but it doesnt seem to be working. I am on Joomla x.x.13 and my email addy is on exofire.net.

Can someone help me to set up my smtp for this or let me know what i need to do to get this to work (I have been doing this for now 7hrs. and its driving me :nuts:,, lol....)

That info you can find it in your cpanel I think. But better try after the moving you may be using the right info but it just isn't working.

Currently servers are having all kind of problems because of the moving, plz read the news. That's probably the reason the smtp isn't working right now. After the moving is finished if you continue to have the problem, post again and an staff member will check your account.

Also you can use an external email(a non x10 hosted email account with smtp for example yahoo or google) account with smtp, if that is your case the info your are looking will be in you email host pages(in this case yahoo or google).

You can always use the sendmail php function it's a lot easier, dunno if joomla has it but you can look if it says something about not using smtp.
