Hi all,

I am new in x10hosting. I have a question I hope someone can help me.

I created my web site using joomla 1.5 now what I am trying to do is moving my web site from my machine (localhost) to the web server (x10hosting).
Can some one explain me how to do this?

I thing that somewhere there should be a step by step guide on how to install joomla in x10host but I couln't find it.

Can someone help????????:hahano:

Thanks in advanced

Edit:
Hi all,

I found how to do it.

1) copy the Joomla-1.5RC4 files from your machine to the x10hosting in the directory "public_html"

2) in the directory "public_html" rename the file index.html in index_old.html also in the directory public_html/_vti_cnf/ rename the file index.html in index_old.html

3) connect to your web site should be http://youraccount.x10hosting.com/

4) at this point joomla installation start so you can follow the joomla installation guide. When is asking for the host name put youraccount.x10hosting.com
if it doesn't start digit the followin in your browser:
http://youraccount.x10hosting.com/installation/

5) import your database.

Thank x10hosting for giving us the space and those services.

Closing this thread as you have solved the issue.

If you fins the time and could correct your spelling and grammar, why not write a tutorial on this and post it in the "Tutorials" sub-forum ?
