Joomla Installation error

Hi

i understand that there was server upgrades/migration etc. this caused my site to have alot of errors. so i decided to start from the begining but i am now faced with a problem. i uploaded Joomla 1.5 (latest version) and went to install it, i am faced with this problem.

Cookies do not appear to be enabled on your browser client. You will not be able to install the application with this feature disabled. Alternatively, there could also be a problem with the server's session.save_path. If this is the case, please consult your hosting provider if you don't know how to check or fix this yourself.

i have tried with Firefox Safari and Internet explorer 6 7 and 8 and i still get the same error, this in turn, will not allow me to continue through the install process. if there is any advice/suggestions that you can offer, it would be very appreciated.

When I went to your site. I see joomla installation screen

Can you tell us which screen you are getting the error

did you enabled the cookies on your browser.

i do have cookies enabled, i also tried installing it on my offline webserver and i was able to install it, this error appears sometimes after agreeing to the licence or after entering the database settings

EDIT: ok for some strange reason its working, but now i am getting

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

right after trying to setup the database, i am also getting this problem now when trying to log into the forums or enter the ACP area

i got it working, the initial problem seems to have resolved itself and the new problem i was having with both joomla and phpbb have now been fixed, i reuploaded the install files for joomla and the whole phpbb files fresh from the zip files.
