Firstly I'd like to say how wonderful x10 is as a host and community! However, I have a problem which I have looked into but can't seem to find an answer.

I have recently started this account for my clan and chose Joomla as a CMS but I have issues installing. Running the web installer, it tells me that the session save path is unwritable. I have tried a few things, including editing the htacess file and upgrading my PHP to intermediate but the problem hasn't changed.

Any help would be gravely appreciated,

I would suggest changing your folder permissions to 755.

Thanks for such a quick response. I have tried what you suggested but with no avail. Is there anything else I could do?

You should make all the folders writeable, i.e as Chris73 said you need to change the permissions of the folders that are being shown as unwriteable to 755.

I have done, do I need to specify a save path/set one? There is an attached screenshot of my problem.

Try creating a folder named "tmp" (without quotes) in the same directory as the installation script. If you already have one, check the script and see if there is a temp folder defined (or PM me a copy of the source).

Thanks for such a quick response again. The installation script seems to say the folder "/tmp" is the save path now.

Thank you so much,
