Joomla installation problem

just tried to install Joomla w/Fantastico and got:

[function.fopen] failed to open stream. No such file or directory

usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico/includes/enc_installation_func.inc.php on line 175

/home/alta/public_html/configuration.php [Error]
/home/alta/public_html/data.sql [Error]

Please, help to start w/x10> What the problem is?

I'm reinstalling Fantastico, try again in a bit and see if it works.
