I set up my account with the domain being lglogan.x10host.com. I added my domain logansportlifegate.org which in and of itself displays properly. When I type in logansportlifegate.org/administrator it takes me to the Joomla log in page. The page then goes to http://lgloganx.x10hosting.com/administrator/index.php with the message that the domain does not exist. How do I fix it so that it takes me to the Joomla administration page?

Have you previously set up Joomla with the sub-domain?
From the looks of it, there is some sort of redirect involved.

What fascinates me is the fact that it uses *.x10hosting.com rather than *.x10host.com.

When I set up the logansportlifegate.org domain, I copied the files over from lglogan.x10host.com. I should have run a joomla set up instead, I take it?

The other part is that on one computer (where it may me due to cache) if I go back in my browser I am logged in, but only on that computer.

Via FTP or file manager (in cPanel), go to the directory where you installed Joomla, edit 'configuration.php' and search for something like this:
PHP:
public $live_site='example.com';
If the domain within the single quotes is not your custom domain, change it to your custom domain. Like so:
PHP:
public $live_site='logansportlifegate.org';
After saving, try logging in again.

If it still happens, have a look in the .htaccess file and replace the domain with the custom one too.

Thank you, this was the fix I was looking for and also explains how the site was going to *.x10hosting.com- I somehow had that as the live site entry. Anyways, everything appears to be working as it should. Thanks for the help!
