joomla problems

i have a problem now with joomla, i cant upload my templates or file through joomla because now they are unwriteable (the folders)...is this problem because ur working on something corey?

i think is the php or something that we cannot write or update

Have you CHMODed the folders?

You can always do it manually through cPanel.

because is still saying that the folders are unwriteables, i really need help on this, can someone from the staff help me on my account?

I had the same problem with Joomla,
It seems that the server has change the Chmod (Permissions) of the writeable Folders from 777 to 755.

You just need to Chmod the appropriate folder in Cpanel, Using File Manager.
(You can also use any FTP client)

The folders that you need to change back to Chmod 777 are located in :
Joomla Admin > System > System Info > Permissions
