Hey everyone,

I want to add an subscription plugin/module/component to my website and send e-mails with news to every subscriber. However, I can't seem to make it work. Is there a guilde how I can do it? If i just add a module, it doesn't work, I believe I have to do something with cPanel mail. Could anyone help me? Maybe there's a tutorial? What subscription add-on should I use? Thanks.

You don't have access to all the same mailers with a free account as you would normally. I forget the exact settings, but I do remember having to override it so that it basically fawned the mail off to the local sendmail, rather than attempting to send directly, if I wanted to get a confirm mail out of the system.

As you said it is joomla, you can still leave away cPanel mailing and can use Acajoom free or Pro version to send news letters
If you are to use free version only, you can choose jNews component which is the upgraded Acajoom component.
It will have features to send the required mails to the subscribers. These are called newsletters in web jargan world.
