Yes, x10 servers are fully compatible with Joomla.

For a Joomla 1.5 version, you may opt for an easier/automated installation by using either cpanel >> Fantastico or cpanel >> Softaculous.

For a Joomla 1.6 version, upload and extract this zip file in the public_html directory:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/14659/64120/Joomla_1.6.3-Stable-Full_Package.zip

Please make sure that before you begin with the installation of Joomla 1.6, you need to create a database user and a mysql database.
You also need to link them together and grant the required privileges to the database user.
