Hey so I just got my free hosting account which I am super excited about logged onto my cpanel and had a look around so now I want to get started.

What I am trying to do is take my current domain www.legend-killers.com and make it go to my website instead of my forums and make a subdomain or something like forums.legend-killers.com and point that to my forums? Is that possible and if so how would I go about doing that do I have to contact my domain people?

- Change your domain nameservers to point to
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

- Park your domain from cPanel

- Create a sub-domain for your forums and Setup a re-direct
OR
- Request for adding an A record for forums.legend-killers.com to the IP Address where your forum is hosted. (You have to Configure forums.legend-killers.com in your forum host too)

Your domain host doesn't setup the forums subdomain, you do from cPanel. And you should have an account with your registar which you should be able to change the nameservers from.

- You have to create sub-domain from your cPanel.
- You have to change your nameservers by yourself. Usually, customers are allowed to change their domain's nameservers.

Oh well the company I go through I can't change my nameservers myself so maybe I should have them transfer me over to Godaddy.

Also if I create forums.legend-killers.com how do I make that point to my forums? Like will it show up in my domain stuff? I don't like redirects because then the long url comes up and I have a domain so myswell use it.

EDIT:

Also when I upload my through cpanel do I use my domain directory? And where do I upload it Home Directory,Web Root, Public FTP Root, or document root
Edit:
alright look now look whats going on

www.legend-killers.com brings it to that place holder but I want it to display this

i think you need to change your ftp account in godaddy to your x10 ftp account.

But it looks like it's working right now just the place holder is overwriting my files?

www.legend-killers.com
showing place holder if I take it out maybe it will show my files
legendkillers.x10hosting.com

I just put all my files in using file manager isn't that good?
Edit:
Anyone know? Also is there like a full instructional post on how to point certain things to make it work!

And there also has to be a IP adress for the A Host right? What is it!

Your domain has four nameservers set. Remove the 3rd and 4th nameservers. They're pointing to GoDaddy Servers.
