Just got paid for doing a web design job for some attorney and I used the money to buy myself one of these babies

It comes with windows vista home premium and so far is so good. There are a few glitches in Vista, one of which is completely awesome, the other is not so good.

The first one is your browser window will spaz out when you first open it (random times) and you have to refresh to page or click a link to access a new page in order to make it stop.

The second is that sometimes it will open an application then quit as soon as you open a file. This sucks.

IMO You got gipped on that PC. You could get one for much cheaper I'm sure.

I'm not sure if it was that exact PC. I bought it at the store and was just looking for an online link to give you an idea of what I got. 2 GIGs RAM, 5 GIG hard drive, lightning fast and it was same price as what was on the website.

Well, I dunno if sony would be any better but it sure would be cheaper.

Wow PCI-E.. that'll pay off in the long run! Now that I see all of your specs, $1,300 isn't too bad for something high end like that.. just hope it has a lot of fans!

lol u got that right. 5 fans total: 1 in front (where that grid thingy with the blue light is in the picture) 2 in the back, 2 against the right wall blowing upwards. With summer coming around, it ought to keep cool!

Hmm... Not bad machine.

I have a "master plan" to buy newer computer by end of this year*, because current one is almost 6 years old (!!!).

* - And i be probably paying half of the cost.

I think I'll keep the machine I have and just slowly try and buy pieces and parts to upgrade it. Having a friend that is an IT tech, I may be able to get parts a bit cheaper ( and have them installed for free - hehe )
