Two anti-virii software? I personally just use AVG as an antivirus and Windows Defender as antispyware (great false sense of security!). I rarely ever get viruses, so I only need basic protection that doesn't bog down my system.

I've heard that Kaspersky and NOD32 are among the best, but I figure "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I use NOD32 and it's the best anti-virus I've ever used..
Low resources and I've never got a virus with it.

Check out my thread in this topic "Norton vs. Kaspersky" It definitely rivals both NOD32 (w/ exception of scan speed) and Norton as well as Bitdefender and AVG (although AVG is the best for cheap/freeware)

In my post it gives you a good synopsis as to why I think Kaspersky is the Best!
Nod32 is good but not for the not-so-computer literate.

I'm thinking of getting Kaspersky and Bitdefender what do you think of that. Kaspersky scans faster but Bitdefender has 2 more features. NOD32 I will have to think about..

Definitely Kaspersky! Although I would get the Internet security Version non just the AV. I dont think there is a major price difference.

Good Money!! Youll thank me later :)
Edit:
one tip though....The Kaspersky Interent Security scans all internet traffic. SO this means that if you dl via torrent that you can disable the security before you start ur dl. Also just in case you didnt know for torrent progs you have to set up the firewall with permissions.

Kaspersky Internet security includes AV. Plus it scans everything you do w/o eating up all your computers resources.

I've been using NOD32 for three years and it has little to no load or memory issue for me. It's practically invisible until a virus or trojan shows up. The compact interface is also a plus. I haven't used Bitdefender yet, but I've used Kaspersky. Kaspersky is a fair alternative to NOD32 except in 64 bit operating systems where NOD64 is a bit faster.
