Just wanting to know how many people know of Filemaker. I used it at work and school and its one 1337 databasing program. Its like Access but not made by Microsoft which means that its easy to use and WORKS ;)

If no-ones heard of it ill post more about it.

Never heard of it. Access sucks.. I hate when it comes to databasing with Access based files; it's much more complicated than it ought to be

Well I was posting a poll to see how many knew of it so I would do a tutorial on it. If people knew of it i would have made a advanced tut...if not a beginner. Its all planned :p

I'm making a video tutorial using Windows Media Encoder to record my screen and Windows Movie Maker to make the movie.

Look at those links and you'll get an idea of Filemaker before i finish the movie :)

Edit:
Due to crappy Microsoft, the qualty is too bad and the size too big. Im doing a PDF instead.

If it works with SQL I'll want to look closer into it - my whole SQL database on X10 right now is mapped out on about 4 notepads cause it didn't fit on one (it's not complex, just rather intertwined)

Yes, I've heard of Filemaker. My dad asked me to acquire it, I've tried installing the trial on my computer and it refused to install because I'm not using XP SP2 (still like my SP1 better).

I never really enjoyed working with those database programs. I have no practical reasons to use them nor do I care about them because of the former.
