Oh absolutely!
Vista runs slowly even on some of the newer computers. It is overpriced, and bloated. I see no good single reason to upgrade from XP except possibly security (even that could be seen as flaky).
Kubuntu (and its parents Ubuntu and Debian) are free, run quite efficiently, and are flexible. Plus they are updated frequently.

(I hope I understood telling the difference in the correct terms)

I wish my games supported Linux :( If KUbuntu is half as good as X-Ubuntu, then I want it!

Its just a different window manager. It is a bit slower the Xubuntu, but it is more ascetically pleasing. And game support for linux is the only real flaw I can find (that and disambiguation).

Yep. If I had the Linux version of UT3, Windows would be out the window. Wait...lol bad joke.

Kubuntu = KDE version of Ubuntu = Debian for dummies
Vista = the latest ... from Micro$oft
:biggrin:

Linux is more resources friendly & Windows is more user friendly.
