LCD picture quality in my opinion is better. It's not what's happening behind the screen that's important - it's how the screen performs as a television that matters the most. In that regard, LCD sets produce excellent pictures, although many home entertainment specialists and gamers still say CRTs produce the best overall images (although the latest plasmas are particularly good, and LCD sets are quickly catching up in terms of quality).

I used to have several CRT, but they take alot of space plus I have to changed it once every 1 years. It seems like CRT is not very durable as compared to LCD.

Therefore after purchasing 17 inch Philips LCD monitor, I donated the crt to my relatives who had computers and still using CRT.

Currently now, my LCD is about 2++ already and New Year is coming which means almost to 3 years..... This LCD been on for more than 600 days minimum 12 hours per day. So you can guess how durable is my LCD.

All the way LCD.....

Happy New Year to Corey , all administrators , all moderators , all account manager , all sales manager and all members of x10hosting. Best wishes to all of you.

once you use an LCD for long periods of time trying to use an CRT is just hard. LCD is so much better, and easier on your eyes some say.

LCDs for everything, but CRT for my hardcore graphic drawings (my old spider doesn't like my LCD).
