What are the errors you are getting when you attempt to link your account?

I have same problem as above, im a newly registered user.

For me it says my username is wrong, but it isn't! I dont know which user name to type in, my forum one or x10hosting one, but ive tryed both countless times to no avail.

Reading this board it appears im not the only one with this problem!

I would suggest you try reading this thread first:
Code:
http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/24710-how-link-your-hosting-account-your-forum-account.html

When you link your accounts, you must use your forum account credentials. Make sure that every detail you place into the form is correct and completely a copy of your exact pieces of information. If this does not work, you may probably try creating a new forum account and link the new account to your hosting account.

Good luck!

All hosting accounts must be linked to a forum account now.

Step 1: Login to your cPanel and set the contact E-mail address to your current working E-mail.

Step 2: Wait a few hours.

Step 3: Go to http://x10hosting.com/account and login using your forum username and password, it should then ask you to link your account.

Step 4: Enter your cPanel username (8 Characters or Less) into the linking field.

Step 5: Click on the activation link in your E-mail, your account is now linked and you can login to your account panel at http://x10hosting.com/account using your forum username and password.

If you followed all these instructions and you still do not receive the E-mail, open a thread in the free hosting support forum.

DOing the above should solve this.

If you signed up for a hosting account ( http://www.x10hosting.com/hosting ) ... you would of had to give them a name for your account ( Cpanel ) ...
So, your address would be Cpanelname.x10hosting ( or exofire or pcriot ) ...

What gives? I can log in, but cant get passed the link accounts page. ronniestokie doesnt work!

If i remember rightly to create an account for x10 not the forums, it couldnt be more than 8 characters, so i choose "ronstoke". I've tryed this as well and it wont work.

Help please!
