Linux Music/Video production

Hi every one there!
I run a PC lab on my school (music school) and I am going to put some linux SO to work with.
I am considering several distro to work with, but I would like you to tell me what you think and, if possible, your experiences about this.
There are 10 PC wireless connected.
Distro like Ubuntu Studio, Musix or other are interesting proposal for music and video production.
I think Studio Ubuntu is a nice easy to configure version, and could be a good start for students...
Please let me know what you think.

Ubuntu overall is a very good Linux Distro so if I were you I'd go with that and give it a try. Seeing as most Linux is free though and easy to install you could just try several and use the one that is best.
