A couple of months ago, my neighbor and I decided to start a website. Since I know PHP, and he's still learning it, we pretty much decided that I would code the main site, he would do the graphics, and help run the forum. Pretty much nothing happen, and the site idea was lost.

Today I decided that I would love to re-start that site in my spare time. I had the basic site layout done, and I was linking the forum accounts with the website itself.

I remember for a fact that I linked that cPanel to this forum account. I know my subdomain was football.exofire.net. However, I am not sure on the password, or the email I registered it too.

I am pretty sure that account is probably deleted. And if that is the case, I really don't see any reason for me restart at 0 again. I was just wondering if that account is suspended, as was done in the past when you didn't visit for 6 months. On the register field, it said that the domain football.exofire.com was taken, which is the only reason I believe that account still exist.

I know the plan I had was supported by ad's. But that was the v2 of X10, so I'm not sure what plan that would be today.

If there is a password reset anywhere for the control panel, I guess I could give that a try. I have a couple of e-mail addresses, and I'm not sure which one was my "main" back then.

Thanks for the help.

Also, I do not have a backup. When I decided to drop the project for the time being, I made a backup, and stored it on one of my computers. However, two weeks ago I had a HD failure, thus loosing all that data. I don't believe I uploaded that backup anywhere else.

I just checked into it. It looks like someone else registered that name. Yours was in fact deleted for inactivity a while ago. The person who registered the name has been suspended also for inactivity so if you want to wait till tomorrow if they don't respond I'll remove the account so you can register it again.

I'd be shocked if you did this, but you wouldn't have the files I had, would you? There is no reason I could see that you would back up others sites, but just incase you did, I figured it couldn't hurt asking, right?

Whenever their account gets deleted from the in-activity, I'll re-start mine then I guess.

Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Actually, the more I think about it, I think I'm going to use a different forum software then the one I previously had. The coding I actually wanted to retrieve was the cross between the forum software and the main site. But since I'd be using a new forum software, that coding would become useless. I've been working on the future site a little bit on my computer, mostly CSS. I can't wait till I can have it uploaded, and play with the forum software too, like installing the mods.

Yeah, we don't keep backups of free accounts like that so whatever you had is now gone. Just post back here tomorrow sometime and I'll go ahead and remove the account as long as they're still inactive.
