I no longer have ownership of my domain name (globalnetics.com) and would like to use an older one that I still have registered with godaddy. Should I have my current account closed and re-register for my other domain name or could the information in my current account be changed to match my other domain name?

Your account here would have your domain parked (rather than having the main domain for the account set to your purchased domain) You should be able to unpark that domain, and park the other domain in its place. Note that you will have to point your GoDaddy domain to x10Hosting's name servers using your domain management panel there. And it will take some time (up to 72 hours, but usually quicker) for the DNS entries to propagate so that everyone entering your domain into their browsers address bar or clicking on a link) will actually be sent to your site, so you might want to hold off on that heavy-duty marketing campaign for a couple of days.

Would it be safe to delete everything in my folder and start over? Also, a little confused about what your saying on parked domain. globalnetics.com is no longer active and can not be parked. The domain expired.

So, I got rid of my add on domains that pointed to globalnetics.com (now that the domain has expired) How do I change main domain to cryptision.com? The old main domain was globalnetics.x10.mx

Hello,

To use your own domain, either add it as a Parked or Addon Domain in your cPanel.

Use a Parked Domain if you want to access your main website via another name, or
Use an Addon Domain if you want to have a second website accessible via that name

Please be sure the domain's nameservers are set as followed:
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

*We do not support changing your account's main domain.*

For more information, please see http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Use_Your_Own_Domain

Thanks for the info guys. :) At first I wanted to delete my current acconut and create a new one, not sure if that would be allowed. Just not sure what would the best way to change domain names. globalnetics.com was a failure.
