Magento old version when installed cannot add categories of any sort to products.
Uninstalled it and tried version 2.2 (newer)
On install it claimed it had overused free hosting space of 500 meg and filled amount to 105%. Nothing else was installed at the time and no other web files in use. It was an empty account.
Could not uninstall it using softaculous.
ERROR LOADING DATAChild failed to make LIVEAPI connection to cPanel.
Error when trying to open softaculous to remove the install.
Could not delete any files using file manager.
A day later I was able to remove all files and database manually and then use softaculous to remove the install.
Tried to reinstall and it said it used 2.5 megs this time.
On trying to open the catalog and catalog admin, it had error 500
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Same error as before trying to open softaculous to remove the install.
Was able to use file manager to remove install folder and database, then was able to open softaculous to remove the installation.
Magento in any version simply does not work.
Contacted someone in admin via email to ask if the install can be deleted or the folder removed and was told there is no support, open a ticket or post on the forum.
