Magento Shop Connector

I installed Magento Commerce on the Server to test it.

Everything is working fine except the Connector, wich installs plugins.

The Plugins are loaded from the Web, so I think here is the problem.

I searched in the magento community and found out that the Server provider can solve the problem.

I just wanted to know if it's possible to get the connector working on the Server, because I really want to see, what Magento is like.

Wich version of magento did you install? I tried to install 1.3 today and it throws me an error saying that pdo_mysql must be loaded. How did you skip that error?

I use the Version 1.3.2.1

Some weeks ago I also tried to install it and I got an error, but this time everything worked so fine, don't know.

The only problem I have is that the Connector runns forever and nothing happens.
