mail not sending in lotus server

I have installed mybb forum in my site. and told my friends to register on it. They complained me that the verification email was not send. and i also tried registering..but the email didnt send.
The php mail function is not working in lotus server..please solve this problem ASAP.

I have just tested email on Lotus and it is working fine for me, try again. Make sure the settings on your script is correct, if you still have the issue provide an email address and time so we can check the logs to see what happened.
