Mail + Web Disk *edit*

I am trying to access my mail through external services such as windows mail. I set the outgoing SMTP server to mail.shift.exofire.net and incoming to mail.shift.exofire.net and follow the settings that it tells me to use. Yet when I try to send mail it tells me I cannot connect to the server mail.shift.exofire.net. Any help would be appreciated, otherwise, I will just have to login from the webmail. ( I dont like Horde mail btw, sorry :dunno: )

Thanks very much,
Shift

A lot of ISPs block sending mail through port 25. What ISP are you using?

Ok, thanks everyone, Corey, COX is my isp and to Micro, thanks I will see if there is a setting and change it. For the outlook, I dont believe I have it, I am using Windows Mail which comes with Windows Vista.

*edit*
I have not been able to find any place to change the SMTP settings.

*edit2*
Web disk Problems, cannot connect, can anyone connect to web disk? I enabled ports on my router and on my firewalls on both my windows xp computer and my windows vista computer. Still cannot connect. I downloaded the web disk updates but it wont connect to web disk and says If I want to connect to default view, I click yes, then it tells me the ports are not open. Does this mean that we are not able to connect or is there some problem that I am not addressing correctly?

You could *try* to ring COX and see if they will unblock it for you, however i doubt they will.
