Make cartoon

How can I take a picture that was scanned(hand drawn) then edit it to look like a cartoon in photoshop?

depends how much time you want to take and the skill level you have with photoshop.

colouring a cartoon can be very time consuming, if you seen my ninja girl that I coloured which is ok (I think, other people think its amazing ) took me about a week to do plus a weekend of non-stop work for one girl.

Well. I drew a picture. And im scanning it and i wanna make it look like a cartoon in photoshop how do i do this?

ok well first off, duplicate the background onto a new layer. Then on the new layer change the blending mode to multiply and opacity at about 70%. Then technically go nuts and colour it in with the brush tool

Just a little off-topic for curiosity here, what program do you use to make tutorials?

do you mean like flash?? Flash will do everything you want I think so you may want to request someone to make you a flash animation, but that will probably be very pricy

If you have heard of the gorillaz they are an animated band. I want to make a music video liek that. How do i go about doing this i have one sketch of the characters i want in a picture format.
