So, I noticed that the Max File Size for Upload is DROPPING!

and I come to this conclusion:
SOMEONE IS ABUSING STOLI SERVER!

I'm just warning you like FIVE MINUTES IN ADVANCE that STOLI WILL CRASH IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING NOW!

Can you be a bit more clear about the issue you are having? The disk space on stoli is fine.

Care to explain where the max file size for upload is dropping, and where you came to the conclusion that the server is being abused?

The Max File Size for uploading via cPanel File manager was dropping.

Now, when I try clicking "Upload" in cPanel File manager I get this message:

Code:
Sorry for the inconvenience!

The filesystem mounted at /home/siggi on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.

This message indicates that my website runs on a different volume from other servers, right? OK, so my first post was incorrect. But, may I have a log of what is causing the disk space to run out for my website? (I need to know who is abusing my website's forums)

Hi,
It is some other problem(known to us) and not the same as what you said.
Kindly put the problem forward exactly and donot infer wrongly. Also you should have mentioned the exact server response in your first post.Else you are not just wasting our(and yours) time but also irritating us.Also the kind of posts are a kind of abuse on the hosting.Hope you understand.
The server settings for file upload are still the same and they did not drop a byte and will never drop unless otherwise declared.X10 mentions any changes before imposing them.
Your problem would be taken care.
But before that,go through your cpanel and try uploading any file(that abides to Terms and Conditions) of size less than 16MB.
If you still face the problem, revert back but with exact information and no ridiculing/inferences/sarcasm.

It's server-wide, not just one account, but that'd explain it. I'll forward it on to staff.

Also you should have mentioned the exact server response in your first post.

I just noticed that the Max Upload size was dropping first. Now that it hit Zero KB I get that server response.

Yup, working on it. I'm recovering space right now from major TOS violators; right now I'm slaying an account hosting a gig of porn, we'll see what I can get cleared up on my own while the admins start compiling a list of users with big files to go through.

I don't know if it's possible, but can you add a porn detector that auto terminates accounts doing that? We don't need any more porn websites, there are already enough on the internet.

I'm working on that actually; one of my scanners supports looking at filenames, I'm going to be doing some rewrites to it to enhance the filename searching for flags.

But besides that, the normal system for high disk usage was having some problems, we're still working on it though.

What do you do if the hard disk is full and all accounts on the server comply with the TOS? do you have to add another hard disk?

Never ran into that issue yet; there's a bunch of log files that can be cleared up though too.
