It would be thoughtful for those of us who want very strong passwords to have the ability to at least type 19 character long passwords which would mean increasing the current character limit of 16 to 19. This would also grant myself current access to free hosting as servers are having errors and I have been locked out from changing my password due to the fact my password is over the 16 character limit.

I am not sure why passwords must be between "1 and 16 characters in length". IMHO 16 characters is more than adequate to create a strong password if one uses a good mix of upper / lower case characters and numbers. For the sake of password strength I think the much bigger problem is the minimum number of characters which should be at least 8.
Have you tried canceling your signup and signing up again with a new password which is within the current password limitations?
