I've seen it advertised in many of the PC magazines that I buy.
Im not really sure about how fast it backs up files, 'just press the button and your files are backed up in one, simple step. It's simply the fastest backup', for many people it would take an hour or 2, or 3, or 4, etc.
It also seems to offer many good security features and apparently very easy to restore a previous backup.
If you are a person that is always complaining about accessories moving around and causing mess and chaos on your desk, this is not recommended but it looks good.
One not recommended form of backup is a USB datastick thingy, I have one and they are not fully reliable, they have very limited storage space and can be easily lost, but are quite portable.
The Maxtor One Touch II mini is basically an external hard drive specially for the purpose of backups, but if you want to use the drive for something else, maybe a proper external hard drive would be better, but won't be as easy to backup and may need 3rd party applications to backup files/drives.
