Can i use a 3rd party program to install a membership database

for example if i want to use Instant Membership Site Creator

I don't see why not. A lot of people use auto installers.

it keeps telling me invalid argument. when i spoke to there support they said it might not work with free hosting is that a possibility

Sorry to be a bother again but still saying invalid argument even after the upgrade.

I know the software works cause i just made one on my works website

any other ideas.

Can you link to the error? That does not look like a PHP Error to me.

Its to do with cgi-bin thats where it is trying to install and i have installed the cgi centre is enable.

I'd guess it has to do with permissions then, try changing the permissions on your files or contacting the script creator.

I double checked CGI is enabled and setup correctly on your account.

Does the Cpanel have a program there that requires people to create a membership to view certain areas of the website
