Help I've discovered that if I will going to enable my mod_rewrite I cannot access my gallery or download page?

I'm using joomla.

Hi Zubair,

Thanks for the reply btw this is the .htaccess code that I'm using right now and this is the default htaccess of joomla no changes made.

When I try to disabled the "Search Engine Friendly URLs" and "Use Apache mod_rewrite" I can access my internal links but when I enable it I got this error on my browser. You can check my website to see it for yourself. http://ralphweb.co.cc

Is it because of that your are rebuilding Apache and PHP on Cossacks, Chopin, and Boru according to the news? My server is in Boru and this problem start on June 4.

I've already remove the # RewriteBase / but the error was still there?

No, why you remove the whole line? i ask you to just remove the # to uncomment this line.

Hi,

I am facing same problem with my site :

www.gaurang.pcriot.com/contact

.htaccess file content is as below :

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule home index.php
RewriteRule portfolio portfolio.php
RewriteRule contact contact.php

It was working nicely but recently stopped working..please tell me how to overcome this ?

@ehunt0_f: try the advice Zubair already gave to ralph2007. If that doesn't work, start your own thread rather than threadjacking this one. You may not have the same problem, and you are more likely to get more people to look at a shorter thread. If and when you start your own thread, be sure to include relevant information.
