This is a similar or identical issue to one apparently resolved a few weeks ago in this thread:

Code:
http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/79106-moodle-not-working.html#post439070

After installing Moodle, I get the following error:
Code:
Warning: posix_times() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/shishir/public_html/lectures/lib/setuplib.php on line 36
I have the intermediate php option, bug apparently x10 has disabled this function, won't re-enable it in the intermediate php level and won't allow the advanced without "a good reason" (isn't it a good reason that the s/w won't run without it??)

I tried the fix given in the above thread - the person there who was having the same problem wondered if the fix would create problems within moodle. Moodle tried to run, but many of the functions don't work, leading to blank screens and freezes in the app.

Has there been any other workaround.fix?

Thanks,
Shadow Mihaiu

Just commenting out the line in question will resolve this.

Closing this because it hasn't been active for a while, feel free to make a new thread if you still need help.
