I am using the cossacks server and currently uploads through moodle are failing to write to disk although cpanel is working - this is only an issue today is there an issue with the cossacks server? I have also received an email stating that the disk is full: whereas there should be plenty of space on the allocation

It is possible that your disk is full.
The failed SQL is:
INSERT INTO mdl_log (time, userid, course, ip, module, cmid, action, url, info)
VALUES ('1261073353', '2', '1', '82.34.186.139', 'course', '0', 'view', 'view.php?id=1', '1')
