I know that the MySQL server has not been working. Sometimes it connects and other times it dosent. Did I set it up wrong or is it the database?

There is still work on the database server, so it's going to be up and down while Corey and his datacenter work on the issues. Keep an eye on the server announcements away from the support requests before you post more topics. That's all, just some work. Corey will be posting an update later on today/tonight.
