More problems

My site has a downloads section, which now only gives "PK" in the upper left corner of the screen when a file is selected to download. Initially, my site was unaccessible as well but after disabling GZip it started working again. Then the Captcha images were not working, still aren't. Now there is a problem with the downloads. What changes were made on Friday that would have affected these things? :dunno: Thank you for your time. Whatever can be done would be most appreciated.

hmm..I don't know what else it would be, try reinstalling Joomla maybe?

Do you know what changes were made on Friday? It might be helpful. All of these things were working for some time before Friday afternoon. If something altered files/rights then a reinstall would be a fix but reinstalling would be my very last step for recovery.

We have appended a script using mod_layout that runs directly before your pages. This script does not insert ads or have any HTML in it. It is strictly for security. Things using gzip will fail because of how it tries to compress the pages.

Could you give me a direct link to where you're getting the error at?

Here is a link to a download page, http://mlwebtechnologies.x10hosting...com_remository&Itemid=29&func=startdown&id=34 If you check the box and click the Download button, you will get the error. Also, my Captcha images are failing since this change. Is there anything in the security script that would cause this as well. yea i started getting errors after that new script file was put up as well. And i tried reinstalling but it doesnt help so I wouldnt recommend you doing it unless its a new site.

Its the content type not being right. I think we're working on this

PK is the start of a zip file, of which that is i think?

hmm...I just tried using the contact us page on your site, MLeeper, and it looked like it didn't have a problem verifying the CAPTCHA code, so I think that works now.

Edit: Just checked your download system and it works now too. So can we close this?
