My site (MicroTechXP)brings you (the user) a friendly community in which to openly discuss the asspects of the Tech World, Software, and gamers. We have disscusions from Linuix to Microsoft and from beta news and other things that is updated every day for you to enjoy! We are not only a tech forum, we update you with the latest hardware news and other news, We also give you the option to ask for support on what you nead help on! You can come in and talk about or get help with your anti-virsus software or even help or getting suggestions on modding your PC.

We provide a Home-page for you to read and new Tech/Software/Gamers/and Other news that there is on the day! In the latest verion of the MicroTechXP homepage there is a new skin, new mods, more news, new news icons, new logo's, and better RSS feeds. You can comment a post now, make a rating of the post, and print the news post.

We also provide a forum for you to discuss any news, betas, MicroTechXP Exclusives, hardware, software, tweeking your hardware, and many more. We offer reviews and assistance in whatever help that you nead. In the latest version of the forums we have given you a new skin as a default, more exclusives, a forum re-design, and more mods. The forums can you help you with whatever you nead. You can talk about Windows, Linuix, and even Mac OSX. You also have the right to talk about things that are not on topic like in the debate center where you can debate about what you like with other people.

Us at MicroTechXP we try to help you and give you the assistance and news you nead. Our staff will help you with what you nead help in and even give you pointers to what you nead help with. Not trying to be mean but its bad.

A few things:

1. Center the homepage. And get rid of that horrible bg image.
2. The forums are so blah and don't even match the theme of the website.
3. Everything is so squished and 'busy'. Try limiting your 'mods' (polls etc) and spreading things out a bit.

You have an excellent start, but some things need major improving. I agree with most of what Conor has said:
1) Center the homepage. It looks too messy with it alligned to the left like that.
2) Get rid of the horrid background gradient. It makes the site look unintelligent.
3) Try centering some of the text, content boxes, etc, on the homepage.
4) Eliminate some of the length of the homepage with the news. Try archiving the news a little bit.
5) Get a better MicrotechXP graphic. The gray one is too big, too off-color and just too "blah". Add some colors to it and more graphics, as well as try making the text fit in better.
If you'd like me to rate your site, I'd give it a 4.5/10. You have a good start, but several things need improvement.
