My Backup

Well, something went wrong on my forum and I want to run the back up. Just so I can get an idea, how long does it take to run the backup. I've already tried once but I figured it was a quick thing and after about 30 sec. I just closed the window. Can someone tell me how long the backup takes to come into effect/how long it takes to successfully run all of the files that were in the backup?

depends how big the file is, I once uploaded a 200mb backup and it took a good 45 min

o ok well mine is like 3.75 mbs.... so like 5-10 min?

your backup is 3.75 MB ?? Thats really small

well i know, cuz its just a small forum with like 3 mods... and its still going. how will I even know if its done?

Make sure you upgraded your forum, because we just upgraded the server to php 4.4.0 and that could be your problem. What forum script are you using? and no it shouldnt take this long.
