my FTP?

I'm using SmartFTP to try and login to the server and it is saying that my Login is incorrect and I checked to see if anything was correct and it was... does anyone know what the Port number is? or does anyone know why it's doing this?

port number is usually always 21. and thats what i put.so try port 21.

the port is port 21.. i use smartFTP with no big problem.. where you domain is supposed to be put the domain but do not put ftp before the domain .. then you should put username and password wher there is login and password..

if you domain is jjjjj.x10hosting.com put it without the ftp..

filezilla or alftp is the way to go. look those up i use them both
