my IPB not working correctly

hi, i'm trying to install IPB and i have created a sql db and username and i don't understand if the name for them is the name i said or my subdomainname_username or db name
please help me, i really don't understand this and this is confusing me sooo much right now, i would really like to get this up soon...please plez plz help!

i think its

host: localhost
dbname: actusername_dbname
username: actusername_dbusername
password: what ever you set it to
