I know this is a little bizarre but work with me people.

Requirements
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
  • Paint
  • At least some IT skills
  • Good colour coordination skills ;)

First, go to PowerPoint and make a new PowerPoint.

Go to the design tab and pick a nice little design.

Then make a text box and put the text in there you want. For eg, X10 Hosting Admin.

Highlight that text and double click, at the top of the screen you should see formatting text, Look at the big 'A'. When you click them you get some fancey text.

When you get a nice style move the text box to a place in the slide that has a nice little background, maybe some swirls or something, whatever makes you happy.

Take a screenshot(/screendump whatever you want to call it of) that slide. (Thats the button on your keyboard which has PrtScn on it ;))

Go to paint, hold down Ctrl and press V. (Or for you non-technical people just right click > paste.)

Crop the little area around your text, cut that (Ctrl + X) then select all > Del. (Ctrl + A, Del)

Then paste back into the clean paint window, and there you have your little button/logo/badge.

Here is one I made using the example of X10 Admin...

Enjoy :)
