Hi, Well I finally got my first page to display all right - Web Disk and FTP still have several issues but I'll address that later. 1) My major concern right now is "How do I get my own URL so that people can find my web-site with something like WWW.AlternateDataConcepts.net as opposed to the current sub-domain (ie.Alternatedesignconcepts.x10hosting.com)? Also I would like email address like
Alan@AlternateDataConcepts.net NOT my own gmail account.
2) The only page under contacts does not seem to be working! I just get the
"Contact Information & Preferences
There was a problem sending your email. Please try again." message.

Hi alandc,

You can use your own domain,

First you need to change the nameservers of your domain to

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

The dns propagation may take upto 48 hours

Now you can change the primary domain in your account panel http://x10hosting.com/panel.php

OR
You can park the domain in your CPanel

OR
you can add as addon domain in your Cpanel

Once added you can create your own domain email in emails section of Cpanel.
