Im agree with the pink color, maybe you could try some different fonts for the logo and adding a reflect, you can reflect in the thumbnail images it'll give you a more professional look.

Looks pretty good. I like the white-space in the top between the logo and content. It separates the sections nicely. The page does get crowded at the bottom though. You should look at pulling the containers apart a little bit to allow the spacing in the bottom to match the spacing at the top.

I'll agree with others that the color combinations don't work well. I think it may be because you have too many colors. Black and Pink works very well when used correctly, and you've got a good start. Excluding the while and black, you have 4 colors all vying for focus on the page. Try slimming down to only 2 colors, and use one for headers and another for links. If you want to add more emphasis to something use different font-faces and styles to do it.

Good starting point. Has a lot of potential.
