Thats what got to me too. Otherwise it's alright. Pretty basic.

i make my sites 800x600 and some people complain...

I do think you should change the colors a bit too, maybe something other than red...

It seems alright, but is it just me, or is the text not right in the middle? It seems a bit off... not sure if it's just my brower or the site... but maybe you can check that out... besides that, everything else looks good!
