MyBB problem

Hello, I've been trying to set up a MYBB forum but when I go to /install/index.php (the page I'm supposed to go to to set up the forum) all I get is the PHP script. I asked about this over at the MyBB forum and someone directed me to a section of the wikipedia page that read: "x10hosting - There is a known issue with MyBB 1.2 not working with x10hosting due to them having exec turned off on their hosting accounts by default. To use MyBB 1.2 on x10hosting you must contact them and request that exec be turned on for your account."

Why does it need exec, can you link me over to your topic on the MyBB support forum?

Truthfully, I have absolutely no idea what exec is or if MyBB needs it, haha. I'm very new to all this. here is the link though: http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=23904

Hi,

After reviewing the thread at mybb I think you're going to have a very hard time finding a free host that will run it. We're currently working on a new PHP system that will allow this to run but it won't be done for another week or so.

I believe if you comment out the exec uptime line mybb will work fine. I don't see it needing the server load or anything to be able to function. Let us know if you need help with this.
