First I want to ask that when I enter the ip of my website (huhwhat? There's no url here!), it comes up with a page saying that you have entered an invalid url. I cannot reach my web site through ip address, how can i manage to? like if i type the ip of google in the address bar, it will take me to google.com and i want it to do the same with my site, it is an addon domain.
The next thing is that I am using x10 free account, so can't I use a script to update my mysql database?
Thanks

The IP address is shared by thousands of X10 users, so it's not a way to reach your site. If you need your own IP address, you would have to go to a paid hosting account where a private IP is an optional feature.

Your script can do anything to MySQL except adding databases and users, as far as I know. The main permissions (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, SHOW, CREATE, DROP, etc) are all available.
