When I tried to access my site, I got this:
Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

And when I checked my Hosting Panel, it shows everything Online.
Then what's the problem?
I believe that the panel is not updated.
Edit:
well that's ok,
Here
http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/13706-x10hosting-services-up-down.html
the status shows down, I hope Hosting Panel is fixed for this problem with the updates.
It won't show up space used, bandwith used etc. properly and neither updates.
Edit:
If I am wrong, reopen the thread and correct me.

Details means?
What details you need?
Edit:
My cPanel displays my Databases, I can access it also, but try visiting my site,
it says cannot connect to mySQL
Edit:
and why does server status in the query shows mySQL as down?

We need to know the following information you used:

Server Host or IP

Database Username

yes everything is fine
server host is localhost only
somedays before everything was fine, and now with the same settings, i.e settings are unchanged, it shows this error
i could well see my databases from my cpanel, and everything is fine

and why does server status query says mysql as down?
it made a wrong impression on me, i thought its down, so i was waiting for it to be up, but when it was taking too long, i thought its some other problem

i think it started after cpanel update was posted by corey, did the update cause something
anyways i am also searching on it, if its my problem
but you also please do check, because the same settings prevail.

Try deleting the user in cPanel and adding it again and assigning permissions again, That will normally fix it.

We're not sure what caused these issues, an update or some data becoming corrupted probably. Also, the status shows as offline because the firewall is configured to block all connections to port 3306 (MySQL port) on most of the servers.

Anyway, this is sorted so I'm closing it.
